The Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Innovate effort is moving into the second year of our pilot of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). We are reaching out to identify our next groups of Student Life staff who are interested in becoming a Qualified Administrator (QA) of the IDI.
Becoming a QA is an excellent opportunity for professional development. In acquiring this credential, you will gain proficiency in improving intercultural competence for individuals, teams, and organizations. You will also learn how to interpret individual and group IDI profiles and receive training on the Intercultural Conflict Styles Inventory. These competencies can serve you in your work and in supporting your department’s use of IDI. Professionally you will also retain this credential throughout your career.
As a part of our team of QAs, you will conduct individual coaching sessions and facilitate group profile sessions for cohorts of students included in the second year of our pilot. This is an excellent service to Student Life DEI goals and an opportunity to gain valuable experience using the knowledge you will acquire during QA training.
